About this average
Primary polls are volatile: the field is not set, many respondents name whoever is in the news, and "undecided" is often the largest answer. Candidates are shown only when at least one poll in the window tested them, so a candidate's average can move simply because different pollsters include different names. Use the trend chart, not any single poll.
